About Eye-related Symptoms
HEADACHE
Eye conditions can be the cause for some of the headaches, particularly astigmatic refractive errors (which require cylindrical corrective glasses – prescriptions with an axis). Most chronic headaches would need an eye check-up to assess the need for glasses, or to rule out the presence of optic nerve swelling (papilledema) which may indicate more serious brain-related pathologies.

Of course most headaches would be unrelated to the eyes, like migraines and simple headaches. Eye conditions do not usually cause severe headaches. Any headache needs to be thoroughly investigated by an internist.
